5 Tips to Look Flawless in your Wedding Photographs

Hello beautiful brides!

None of us is perfect, but we can work our way to look the very best on our wedding day – and in our wedding photos. Today I have some gathered some disasters I observed from behind the lens:

Lobster like tan
Although getting tanning before your big day is a good idea, watch out for tan lines. A strapless bridal gown with tan lines looks shabby. And beware to what extent you want to get tanned. White dresses and sunburns are a no-no.

Too much Make-up
Never overdo your foundation. Brides often cry during weddings. It’s better to have nothing at all than having tear-streaked makeup clearly visible in your wedding photography.

Uncomfortable heels
If you aren't used to walking in heels, practice or choose other kind of footwear. Either way, keep a spare pair. Make sure you do not trip on your way down the aisle with a 4-inch heel.

Breaking out in a sweat
Keep blotting papers. It’s usual for people to sweat on their wedding days – be it the weather or nervousness. Bloating papers will soak up oils from the face thus making the photographs better. Even the grooms need them.

The safety pins
Safety pins can save your day. Make sure to have some handy for covering any wardrobe mishap.
Most importantly, remember what matters: your partner at the altar and your commitment to each other. As long as you have him, everything will be OK.

Few Handy Tips for Choosing a Wedding Photographer

After you wedding day is over, photographs are all you have to relive those memories. But, you cannot trust just anyone to when it comes to preserving memories from your special day. To make sure your wedding photographs are captured professionally, here are few things you can do:

Meeting: Before you book an appointment with a wedding photography company, find out who will be taking your pictures. Make sure you are meeting directly with the person that will be taking your wedding photos and not with a manager or sales person.

Comfort: The first thing is to make sure you feel comfortable with the photographer of your choice. When you interview potential wedding photographers, they should be able to put you at ease. After all, you are letting them become a part of your big day. Go through the portfolio of the photographer and see if they are able to make people feel relaxed in the photos or not.

Organized: The second important thing to look is how organized and efficient the photographers are. An organized wedding photographer will provide you with a checklist of desired photos. A simple conversation about what you want in your wedding photos will give the photographer an idea what you are looking for.

Flexible: Every couple is different and so are their needs. Apart from traditional wedding shots that all couples want, there are often unique requests too. If you have interesting and distinctive wedding photography make sure you pick a photographer that is flexible and adaptable.
Hope these tips will be of some help to you. Good Luck!

Wedding Photography Sunshine Coast: Finding the Right Photographer

As the famous saying goes, people come and go but memories last a lifetime, so it is important to find a photographer who will help you remember your wedding day exactly how it was. Finding the right photographer is a daunting task, you are looking for someone who is more than just good camera.

Here are some great tips for narrow down the search:

Referrals

If any of your friends, coworkers or acquaintances has recently got married, ask them for referrals. Find out if they were happy with the final prints and albums of their wedding photography in Sunshine Coast. This will also help you determine price in your city. Remember not to book the
photographer based on a recommendation alone.

Wedding planners

They are the best people to turn to for referrals as they’ve seen it all. They can tell you everything about a photographer’s style, choice of locations and mistakes. But, sometimes they don’t see the final prints of a photographer’s work and judge them by their personality alone.

Venue recommendations

When you are booking the venue for your event, the rental coordinator is very likely to give you a list of suggested photographers. If the photographer is familiar with the venue, they will be able to select the best spot with amazing backdrops and good lighting.

Online searches

Using the popular search engines like Google to hunt for the photographers in your area is probably one of the easiest options. You can always search wedding photography Sunshine Coast, and you will be amazed with the number of photographers available in your city. Make sure to go through their portfolio and see if their past work has managed to impress you.

Wedding Photography in Rain

Although rain on your wedding day can be your worst nightmare but traditionally it is considered to be a good omen for an everlasting marriage. But, what if it starts to rain on your special day? You must have imagined bright sunshine but now its grey everywhere.
The good news is- you can still look gorgeous in your wedding photography even on a rainy day. There are so many different options and there is no reason why you should let the weather define your limits. Below are the great opportunities for amazing photo poses:
The couple together under a huge umbrella
Splashing in puddles
Running in the rain
Close-up shots of boots in the water or droplets on the window pane
A silhouetted kiss in the rain
Shots of other guests in the rain
Bride wearing groom’s jacket
View of the rain from inside the venue
Bride’s veil trailing behind her in the puddle

Always be prepared if you are getting married in a place where rain is very likely. Even your photographer can bring extra lighting equipment to make sure the photos aren’t gloomy and dull. The dark clouds might take natural light away. For a delicate wedding photography, the photographer can also include candles to make a glowing contrast to the dull weather. The black and white photos will look amazing while adding a touch of romance and art to your photographs. Have fun in the downpour, its good luck!
